Google Thinks We're No.1!

Take a look, boys and girls. When you search for "GOP Radio" on Google, check out who's top dog!

(Click on it to enlarge, or run a Google search for yourself... although who knows if it'll last, hence the screenshot!)

That's right - Brooklyn GOP Radio is numero uno! King of the hill, Top of the heap, A-#1! We're even listed above one of the Kings of GOP Radio, Glenn Beck! You gotta admit, that's pretty damn cool!

Now let's get real: we don't profess to deserve to be associated with such esteemed company. But within less than a year, you must admit that Brooklyn GOP Radio has made a definite impact on the local political landscape.

Not bad for a couple of "morons" distributing the Kool-Aid, huh?

Congrats to my partners in crime, including my co-host Russell Gallo, for all the hard work put into the best thing to happen to the Brooklyn GOP in a very long time. And thank YOU for tuning in and supporting Brooklyn GOP Radio!

Come to the YR Meeting, Stay For Brooklyn GOP Radio!

Brooklyn GOP Radio is part of a unique day at the "Victory Center". First the Brooklyn Young Republicans will hold their monthly meeting. This month, President Russell Gallo will be conducting a presentation on "effective petitioning" in preparation for the campaign seasons to come. The meeting starts at 7:30 PM.

Then, Brooklyn GOP Radio takes to the (internet) airwaves again with another info-packed show. Russell and I will be joined by NYS Young Republicans Vice-Chair Giovanni Scaringi and journalist / blogger Colin Campbell, who runs the new political blog on the block "The Brooklyn Politics" and writes for City Hall News. The show starts at 9:00 PM.

So come on down to the "Victory Center" - 7620 17th Avenue - for some knowledge and a whole lot of fun with the Brooklyn YRs and Brooklyn GOP Radio!

Shame On Fake Feminists & Democrats Alike

I am often forwarded links to videos that illustrate the evils of radical Islam. Usually I watch them and go through several hours (in some cases days) of inner rage.

President George Bush recognized that both good and evil exist in the world. He vowed to fight against terrorism and toppled two brutal regimes while putting others on notice (remember the axis of evil speech?).

Today's Democratic Party lead by Barack Hussein Obama is soft on evil. So soft, that they refuse to acknowledge its very existence. Women and supposed feminists like Whoopi Goldberg should be ashamed for supporting such sentiments and turning a blind eye to their sisters around the world that are being brutally murdered, beaten, raped, and disfigured for "crimes" that in often cases are not crimes at all.

It is difficult to express in words how angry videos like the one below make me. I have always been a man of action. In the coming months I will be doing my part to someday hopefully put an end to all this unnecessary suffering.

The video below is graphic. I know that many of my friends will not want to see it and my partner Gene Berardelli probably will want to remove it from this blog. To them I say, you must know the evil that exists around the world in order to defeat it.

For those of you that are content with eating your Big Macs and watching the Knicks game then do not watch it. For those of you that want to find out what the shadows on the wall of the cave really are then click and watch. Some of you will be surprised.

Skype Issues.... I Hate 'Em!

This week's show was plagued with technical issues. Tons of dropped calls from the "Victory Center" resulted in lots of laughs, but no good product.

Thanks again, Skype!

But fear not, loyal listeners! There will be a pre-recorded episode of Brooklyn GOP Radio set to air at our old time slot - Saturday at 12 PM!

Give Brian Doherty Your Money!

Our buddy Brian Doherty is risking a mid-life heart attack by hopping on a bike and pumpin' those pasty white legs of his in the name of raising money for injured and disabled veterans as part of the NYC 5 Boro Bike Tour.

Brian will be riding with Achilles International. Achilles supports efforts to provide mainstream sporting opportunitites to disabled individuals. Specifically, Brian will be riding to support disabled veterans of the Iraq and Afghansitan Wars.
