Heard At CPAC: Michael Garcar Makes Conservatism Cool

Buy. This. Book.
Ohio Young Republican author Michael Garcar is on a mission to reach as many young people as he can to bring a new message - that being conservative can actually be kinda cool. So to bridge the gap between the Republican Party and millenials, Michael has written a book - Making Conservatism Cool.

"It may seem like a daunting task at first, but if you just look at this generation to begin with," said Garcar when we spoke to him at CPAC.  "You have to make conservatism cool."

"If we don't, the national Republican party... may not exist."

This is not your typical politically conservative book. Making Conservatism Cool challenges current policy, looks at what made the Republican Party great, analyzes the current problems and advocates for policy compromises so that the party is ultimately able to garner more support among this and later generations.

As we did this interview, we all took note of all the young people walking around at CPAC and thought that maybe Michael is on to something.  Maybe conservatism is becoming cool.  Time will tell.

Brooklyn GOP Radio is all about helping young Republicans, but it is especially gratifying someone as committed as Michael.  Click on any link in this article to buy his book!
