No. 1 Republicans For Change vs. No. 5 Glenn Nocera: I'll admit it, this is the matchup I hoped for when we put together this year's BOTY. And the voters seemed to agree before "ProxyMania" ran wild on the site this weekend. RFC handily beat Harry Reid while Glenn eked out the upset over the NYC BOE.
But if you want some real buffoonery - here it is. Glenn Nocera. The same guy who called Craig Eaton a "nasty son of a bitch" one day and then posts all over Facebook his "heartfelt" condolences for a death in the Eaton family. The man who is currently suing Russell and I and the County organization on behalf of RFC for supposedly running an improper vote at the Brooklyn GOP County Convention. Yet, he came onto this site through web proxies to disrupt, confuse and destroy BOTY.
And lest we forget...
Yowza. The only question is does Glenn advance to the finals on his own merit, or as part of the top seed?
