Thomas J. Basile is an Opinion Contributor to Forbes Magazine and the former Executive Director of the NY GOP.  His insights into both foreign policy and the national political scene have made him a sought-after lecturer, and contributor on television and radio.  

A co-founder of one of the nation's first independent and highest profile tea party organizations, Basile is quickly staking a reputation for being among the nation's most powerful voices for common sense conservativism and the government reform.  In 2011, he was one of only two American conservatives featured in Time Magazine's Person of the Year edition about activism around the world.

Basile is also an adjunct professor at Fordham University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences where he teaches political communications and is a member of the New York Bar. He is the President of Empire Solutions, a New York-based strategic communications and growth strategies firm.
